InvadersBreaker started as a simple question: what if Breakout's ball had to deal with return fire? 72 hours later, here we are.

Built from scratch for Solo Game Jam using a custom C++ ECS Game engine.

No Unity, no Godot, just SDL and questionable amounts of caffeine.

Controls

  • A/D: Move paddle
  • SPACE: Launch ball / Restart
  • ESC: Pause

Known Issues:

  • Powerups don't reset correctly when restarting a new game
